Connect Gmail
Email goes out through your own account, from your own address, with the signature you already use — not from a sending service with your name printed on it.
Why your own account
Bulk email platforms send from shared infrastructure, which inbox providers have spent twenty years learning to file under Promotions. Mail sent through your own Gmail is just mail: it arrives in the inbox, it threads with your previous conversations, and a reply lands in your actual mailbox rather than a dashboard.
It also means there is no list of your contacts sitting on a server somewhere. The message goes from your account to theirs, and Human RM is only the thing that composed it.
Connecting
- 01Open Settings in Human RM and choose to add an email account.
- 02Sign in with Google and approve the permission to send mail on your behalf. The sign-in happens in your browser; Human RM never sees your password.
- 03Your send-as addresses come through automatically, along with the signature attached to each one.
- 04Pick which address a send should come from — useful if you have both a personal and an organisational address on the same account.
Signatures come across as they are
Sending limits
Google enforces a daily cap on messages sent through an account — a few hundred for a personal Gmail account, higher for a Workspace one. That ceiling is Google’s, not ours, and Human RM cannot raise it. For a very large list, split the send across two days or use the text channel for the people whose numbers you have.
If mail is not going out
Reconnect the account first — access can lapse if you changed your Google password or revoked app access. If a specific address fails while others work, check that it is still listed as a verified send-as address in your Gmail settings, since removing one there removes it here.
