Who makes this, and why it works the way it does.
Human RM is a privacy-first relationship-messaging app for macOS that sends one written message as separate, personalized iMessages, SMS texts and Gmail messages from the sender’s own accounts, without a group thread or a contact upload.

Human RM is published by ADJAH LLC and built by Lawrence E. Adjah. The company is the legal wrapper rather than a team: one named person writes the code, and the same person reads support@humanrm.com.
ADJAH LLC is also what appears on your card statement, which is worth knowing before it does. If a charge shows up under a name you cannot place, that is this — and the terms say what you are buying from whom.
The founder’s note on the homepage is signed “Lawrence”. That is the same person as this page. There are eight thousand people in his phone, and the honest inability to keep up with them is the entire origin of the product.
Why it exists
The tools for reaching many people were built for strangers.
Mass messaging grew up around marketing — lists, campaigns, opt-ins, short codes, an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Then people pointed those same tools at their friends, and something went missing in the translation. A newsletter is not a check-in. A group thread is not a conversation. The people closest to you are the quickest to feel the difference.
Human RM is the third option: each person gets their own message, their own thread and their own name, and you are not the one typing it three hundred times. The wall of faces on the homepage is not decoration — it is the argument. Three hundred and forty is an easy number to be careless with. Three hundred and forty faces looking back at you is not.

Your contacts stay on your Mac
There is no account, so there is no server holding your address book. The app reads Contacts locally and stores its own data in your user folder. Delete the app and the data goes with it.
It sends from your own accounts
Human RM drives the Messages app and the Gmail account already signed in on your Mac. No shared short code, no third-party sending number, no service messaging on your behalf.
Licences are signed, not looked up
Your licence key is a cryptographically signed claim the app verifies by itself. It keeps working offline, and it keeps working if this website does not.
macOS asks permission, and you can revoke it
The Messages and Contacts permissions are granted by you, locally, and taken back in System Settings whenever you like. Nothing is granted quietly.
Where it is
Status, plainly.
Human RM is at version 0.1.0, published as of 27 August 2026. It runs on macOS 11.0 and later. There is no iPhone, Android or Windows version today, and the comparison page says plainly where a competitor is the better buy because of it.
The releases page carries every version with its date and checksum. Nothing on this site claims a user count, a reply rate or a testimonial, because there is not yet an honest one to publish. When there is, it will be dated and attributed.

›Who makes Human RM?
Human RM is published by ADJAH LLC, and built by Lawrence E. Adjah — one person, working directly on it. The company is the legal wrapper, not a team: there are no investors to answer to, and support emails are answered by the person who wrote the code.
›How is it funded?
By people paying for it. There is no free tier subsidised by data, no advertising, and nothing sold to anybody. That is the reason the app can afford to keep your contacts on your own machine: nothing about the business model requires them anywhere else.
›What will the charge on my card say?
ADJAH LLC. That is the company that publishes Human RM, and it is who your licence is a contract with. If you see that name on a statement and cannot place it, this is what it was — payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see your card details.
›Is my address book stored on your servers?
No, and there is no server that could hold it. Human RM reads the macOS Address Book locally and keeps its own data in a file in your user folder. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no upload step. The only thing that ever leaves your Mac is a message you chose to send — and, if you turn on email tracking, the fact that a message was opened.
›What happens to the app if you stop working on it?
It keeps running. Licence keys are signed claims the app can verify on its own rather than records checked against a server, so an existing copy does not stop working if this website disappears. That is deliberate, and it is the honest answer to "what if you get bored".
›Why is it called Human RM?
Relationship management, done the way a human would do it if they had the afternoon. The category is usually called a personal CRM, but a CRM is for customers, and this is for people you actually know.
